And we're off!
We launched our Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign yesterday, February 21st, and we're thrilled! The pieces are coming together, and we are getting that much closer to being able to open our doors, and start helping artists and our community.
Here's what we've been up to the past month and a half (in order of occurrance):
* Submitted our Articles of Organization application to form our LLC & secure our name
* Obtained our federal employer identification number (FEIN/EIN/TIN)
* Got our proposed lease terms accepted by the building we want for theTRAC
* Started hammering out a finalized lease on our building
* Recruited artists to join theTRAC
* Submitted an Op-Ed column to The State newspaper
* Posted EVERYWHERE about theTRAC
* Launched our Indiegogo campaign
* Did a happy dance because we're so excited and nervous and itching to start!!
I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but that's the main stuff. Very soon I'll have an exceedingly ecstatic post revealing our location. But until then, TRAC Fans, stay tuned!
